Did anyone notice....

Anyone notice that the name of the legendary frozen entree box maker in the movie was named Teddy Duchamp which is also the name of the Corey Feldman's character in the 1986 classic movie, "Stand By Me"?

Just wondering if this is a coincidence or what?

I noticed at least one other homage in this.

ie, the karaoke-video of "Hey Shelly" by the Lovely Lads. The Lovely Lads were one of the names of the original skiffle group that would eventually become Spinal Tap.

So, no, the Teddy Duchamp thing was probably done on purpose.

I think it's a double joke. Duchamp was also an artist (like the Duchamp in the movie). The Duchamp's work was famous for being jarring and anti-art. His most famous piece was an upside down urinal. So when the Duchamp in the movie produces a box that has merely a picture of a sparkplug (hilarious), it's definitely a reference to the real Duchamp.
