THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST GENERIC IDEAS IN FILM PLOT HAS BEEN OVERUSED IN OTHER FILMS, A GRIL/BOYFRIEND MEETS DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY ALA FAMILY STONE

yeah I agree its in the same vein as Meet the fockers... both highly forgettable but amusing in parts.

It's doubtful that "Family Stone" influenced this movie since WMTPS was shot in the summer of '04.
