Meet The Parents...In the Hood!

I just bought this a few weeks back and finally managed to watch it all the way through a night or two ago. I was under the impression that this was just the black version of Meet the Parents, you have the awkward guy going to meet his girlfriends parents, the mom likes him, the dad hates him, the brother is a pothead, the ex boyfriend comes into the picture, the other family members don't really care for him, the boyfriend concucts a plot to win over the family that ultimatley backfires, the boyfriend leaves and the girlfriend just now realizes that her father didn't like him, the father apologizes to the boyfriend and they all live happily ever after. Just like Meet the Parents!!!! Minus Gaylord Fokker!!!!
