I loved this movie!

It was so exciting. This, The Hitcher (remake) and Law Abiding Citzen are my favorite movies.
Although I do like unrelistic movies like Wrong turn, the hills have eyes. it's nice to see some relistic horror movies add Hostel on too that list =)!

For me i give it A 10/10!

I agree. It's actually very scary, there are not many horror movies like that!

I got this for my birthday from my girlfriend and didn't expect much from it. But I was surprised how good it was. I fell in love with this movie the instant he started thinking about what the bad guys are doing and how they can't just act stupid and run outside, he also started thinking how he could get a weapon. You never see that kind of logical thinking in a horror movie! It's always white people wanting to split up or go check out that weird noise.

This movie was such a fresh breeze into the jaded horror genre. One of my favorites and a prized jewel of my bluray collection.

I know and for once the main characters lived!! But I agree, he actually used his brain!! =)

I love this movie, too! It's genuinely entertaining, disturbing and that amazing '70s atmosphere is a great add.

I love this movie too. It's one of my favorite horror movies. I've seen it several times, and it's still really suspenseful and creepy.

I also liked it, and I am glad it had a "happy" ending, unlike most of these type of torture movies.

I'm dumb and thought this was a ghost film (I obviously didn't read up on it properly) and I ended up really enjoying it. I usually turn these movies off out of sheer boredom, but like the director said, he was going for suspense, and suspenseful it was!

LOL thats funny! :) I know movies like this are getting to be the same in every way. You always know whats gonna happen! But this movie was awesome and extremly suspenseful!!! :)

reply

Agreed. I was afraid to watch it because of the snuff element, but I'm glad I did. It was tense and so realistic. I always get creeped out at roadside motels anyway, so this is just another reason to avoid them!

I kinda wished Luke Wilson's character would've been dead to make it more realistic, but otherwise I thought it was pretty good. I'm glad that when people did die they stayed down. I'm so sick of other horror movies where the villain always gets up.

America! *beep* Yeah!

IMO, the ending was a bit abrupt and like midwestdawq83 said, I would have preferred if Luke would've been dead to make it more realistic. But inspite of that, the movie was enjoyable and almost perfectly paced and never got boring.

My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone.
