Undoing reviews

Does anyone know how Undoing is doing in the film festivals? Has it gotten a good response? Any prizes or awards?

Even if it doesn't, I know I'll love it! Sung Kang picks really good roles.

Saw it last night in SF. It doesn't really go anywhere, and the cinematography is really ugly much of the time. A few people in the audience clapped for a second before leaving quickly.

Saw the movie at the San Diego Asian Film Festival. In my opinion, the most disappointing, overhyped movie in recent memory taking the rounds at various Asian Film Festivals. Yes, its film noir in looks, but the storyline is an absolute lost cause. Of course the editing looks cool and the video game type effects are neat but to what meaning or end??? The script was such a bore that even Russell Wong delivered his character lines in a mockish Christopher Walken tone. I love Sung Kang but he's starting to trend toward similar roles that made him famous with Fast and Furious3: Tokyo Drift. Finally, I have come to the conclusion that Kelly Hu is worst Asian American actress currently working gigs. Producers, please stop casting her.

wow, that bad?! too bad. I really like sung kang too; I was happy he did something like the motel that took him out of that fast & furious-ish stuff. I can't stand russell wong! kelly hu not much either (although she did do a decent job in shanghai kiss).

I hope this comes out on dvd, though! I'd still like to see it.

I think Kelly Hu was trying to break out into other roles at this point, unfortunately she didn't,and still doesn't really have the chops to pull it off.
