Is he still in this? Asking because I liked him in Man-Thing. Better than his female co-star, whose career seems to be taking off now, with a role in Transformers and other movies.

Matt LeNevez is most definitely in this, playing the romantic lead opposite Rose Byrne. There was an article in Film Ink last month providing more details, including a pic of LeNevez in his role as a young boxer.

The Tender Hook filmed between mid-March and May 2007 and is now in postproduction with an Australian release planned for early 2008. Since I'm not in Australia, I'm hoping the film gets a festival screening this fall, then maybe international distribution. The strikingly original take on film noir and Rose Byrne's heightened profile of late give this film a good shot, but it's too soon to tell. I'm a Hugo Weaving fan and would like to be able to see one of his films that isn't a scifi blockbuster screen near where I live. ;)
