A C/C+ movie at best

Idea was much better than the execution.

No one in the film seem very invested in the project outside of Gina G - neither cast nor filmmakers.

I really didn't get how the athlete (football player? baseball?) inserted himself into the family - the attraction to the mother was very ham-fisted.

Someone here pointed out it felt very afterschoolspecial-ish. I agree.
