Alba's acting is one of Hollywood's worst.

She relied too much on her looks. She's a decent enough actress but way too generic.

Worse female leads in a RomCom:

Andie McDowell (4 Weddings)
Daryl Hannah (Roxanne)
Meryl Streep (It's Complicated -controversial, I know, but that simpering...)
Jennifer Lopez (all of them- I don't care how beautiful she looks: she can't act)

They're just the famous ones- there are countless forgettable ones that I've watched on Netflix that were so poor I can't even recall the name of the film let alone the actress.

I honestly thought Jessica Alba was perfectly acceptable in this film; charming, good at the stunt work and pretty fair chemistry with Cook. No doubt Emma Stone would've been even better, but this was always going to be a film that was all about the 2 male leads.

It doesn't get any worse than Tara Reid

I like Alba, I think she's a decent actress.
