Weak script

The movie suffers from quite a few things: Remy lets a huge point slip which destroys their whole plan. He wasn’t that drunk to just forget not mentioning such an important person! Then how does he find the uncle talking with the PI in a bar right away? And what happened at the shootout in the house? Where was Remy the whole time?
