The book's ending *spoilers*
Does the book, too, imply that Carrie eventually would probably have returned to Kilroy?
shareI literally just finished the book about ten minutes ago, and no, it doesn't really. It ends with her and Mike at the park, and the narrator says that in the future she would get a postcard from Kilroy, but that's it.
(Haven't seen the movie (and won't because I can't for the life of me tolerate Michelle Trachtenburg), so I can't compare.)
What I've got in my head you can't buy, steal, or borrow. I believe in live and let live.
Ok, well thanks! Maybe it is better if she didn't return to him.
