I was watching the movie, and was at the part where Carrie is telling Kilroy she can't go back with him right then, when all of a sudden my cable goes out.
Can someone pleasae tell me what happened in the couple minutes after that?

She went to the pier where Mike and all of her old friends were and then a lame voice over said something about never knowing what love will teach you or where it will lead you. It implied that she stayed with Mike. Read the book - it's SO MUCH BETTER!
sharewell then the next scene she shows up at the pier where mike had his accident becuz of the cookout that was mentioned at the wedding. Everyone is surprised she's there. Then everyone leaves for a walk leaving Carrie and Mike together on the pier. He asks her how long she is here for and she says "I'm here now." She kissed him on the side of his forehead and there is a narrative by Carrie talking about how love chances and how people change becuz of love. And the chance is continuous, foolish, and endless. That's how it ends, Carrie and Mike on the pier. It leaves you thinking what happens with all her relationships.

I have to agree with Sunflower. It left me wanting more. I wanted to know if Carrie fall in love with Mike again or what?
Yes I read some of the other posts about the book ending and Carrie not being in love with Mike anymore in the book.
Still with the ending the movie gave it seemed possible that either she never truly fell out of love with Mike or she might have fallen back in love with him at some point after the conclusion of the movie. Especially after her monologue about love changing.
