Debut of Wizard Toys

www.figures.com - "Wizard Entertainment founder, Charles Band, the sci-fi and horror producer/director whose 250 plus films helped establish Full Moon Pictures, has announced the formation of Wizard Toys. The new company will release custom action figures from new Wizard films and, through a special arrangement, selected items from Full Moon’s extensive vault.

Wizard Toys’ first release, scheduled for late July, will include a special offering from Wizard’s debut film, Decadent Evil, and surprises from Full Moon classics such as Puppet Master and Subspecies. Band, commenting on the creation of Wizard Toys, said, “We’ve seen significant changes in the toys and collectibles market over the last few years and Wizard Toys plans to take these into account as we adapt to the needs of the marketplace. Our focus will be more on ‘cool’ collectibles directed to specialty markets and we’ll feature signed and numbered limited editions for our fans.”

Band has announced the launch of one of his patented road shows this October and a key part of his presentation will be Wizard Toys. The company’s initial collectibles will be featured along with Wizard films and contest winners will walk away from each tour stop with a unique prize package containing signed, numbered action figures, and copies of Decadent Evil. A special grand prize winner will have the rare opportunity to be cast in a future Wizard Entertainment production."
