One of the strongest plots I have seen in a while, this movie had it all, romance, action, and solid acting, I loved it.
shareI agree. I thought the production values were very good considering it still falls in the low budget semi sleazy B-movie category. Acting was surprisingly strong. And who would have expected sharp dialogue in such a flick? Kudos to director Charlie Band and screen writer August White.

I've always loved Full Moon / Charles Band, and most of his newer titles are also very good, but Decadent Evil may be one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and I've seen a few thousand movies throughout my life.
shareYes.... this one kind of sucks. Most of the recent full moons have. I'm interested in the upcoming Dead Man's Hand, but i think the last GOOD movie Band & crew have put out is Blood Dolls.....

shareYou're right about that. Vampire Journals was kind of a spin-off from Subspecies. You can actually see Ash (Johnatan Morris) in Subspecies IV. This isn't a remake but a sequel of VJ, as the ten first minutes feature footage from that film to introduce us the context and characters.
By reading the OP you get the sense you're gonna watch the new Godfather. It's not a good movie, but I think it's still watchable. The end is one of the best I've seen... LOL.
