Watching it now and.... seriously?

When Statham's wife dies, not very devestating apparently.
People have a more emotional reaction when they get a stain on a shirt.
He reacted more negatively to getting a $300 paycheck.

I think I'll keep on watching, but that sheer lack of emotion upon seeing his dead wife? Maybe Jason Statham would be a better producer.

one of those movies that gets better when watched over and over again ... dont try to find "flaws" (there are too many to count), just enjoy the carnage

When I watched it, I felt like his reaction was one of being stunned and trying to figure out if she'd collapsed, fainted, or what. And before he even has time to see that she's dead, he's being sprayed and attacked.

Then all of a sudden we cut to, what? six months later.

I dunno. I don't think his reaction was horrible.

He was in shock. It's not hard to figure out and plus like others said it's not like he had any time to grieve.

He's a bit of a limited actor. He usually just has that one expression.

Limited actor in a crap load of movies.
