So we're supposed to like Machine Gun Joe by the end?

Ames and Case are shown as sympathetic characters (he's framed and she supposedly killed an abusive husband or something).
Machine Gun Joe on the other hand... all I was thinking in the end scene when they're all buddies was "isn't this the guy who murderkicked out his copilot for giving lip?"

Eh. Fun dumb movie and not one to overanalyse, but this detail bugged me.

you're right concerning Joe....who knows what the other guy was in prison for but that kicking out was overly mean and Joe didnt really deserve to get off easily
