One of Aniston's best performances.

Everything is my IMHO:
I think that after "Friends" she was trying and trying to get her proper movie career going and it was dreadful (like all of them except probably Perry), but this movie was one of the best in her career and Mr. Vaughn as well in my opinion and the script did add to it a lot. Man/woman battle continues, I like this movie a lot and I can watch over and over again. Just great!

the scence after Gary misses the concert and Brooke is crying in the bedroom is really a good scene. It is hard to watch because her hurt feels real and her emotions genuine. Guess she had some real life expereince to pull from there.

This movie is weird. It is one of my favorites. I think the intro with the pictures and the music is fantastic and I love the ending, how they both look back and are glad to see one another (with more good music). But I feel the entire middle is so hard to watch and feels so real. There is so much tension and as a woman you can relate to Brooke. It really isn't happy at all and even the funny parts are only funny for the one of the characters, you just feel bad for the other one.
