I was watching an old Simpsons Episode the other day, and i couldn't help notice the similarities between the scene where Millhouse's dad and mom are fighting over pictionary, and that scene in this movie, pretty funny if you ask me.
shareMy parents say they almost got divorced over a game of Risk. My mom betrayed my dad to try to conquer the world, but he held her off and went on to win the game. My mom refuses to even talk about it because the fight was so atrocious.
shareI wouldn't say it is the actual game that break people up. If the relationship already has a lot of issues, much like a glass with cracks in it, then something as simple as a game can break it up.
Maybe games have a way of bringing out a persons true wishes?

It does seem as though board games are dangerous relationship territory, not that I have a specific story of my own, for which I am now so very glad!
Seriously, though, these people argued about everything and nothing.
Although I'm not saying both parties didn't have some valid points I just think if it wasn't pictionary or dishes it would have been whether the toilet seat was up or down - I always thought that one was a joke?
Didn't Al & Peggy Bundy seperate for a while (with Peggy threatning a divorce) after a game of Pictionary?
