'Aftermath' by Scott Campbell

Almost all reviews of this film mention it being based on a novel called "Aftermath" by US-American author Scott Campbell. But the novel doesn't seem to have been published (according to Amazon), although a German edition with the German title of the film "Im Winter ein Jahr" is due to be published this month:

Does anyone know anything about the original English edition?
