This movie is the definition of 'all over the place'

Didn't make sense even within itself, mixing stuff, going every other direction... like 5 kids improvising a story with their action figures in a sandbox.

I really wish this movie didn't happen. What a waste of talent!

Your opinion i know.... but i think that is what made it a great miniseries... it made you think. Thats what sci fi is all about. I thought the cast they brought together for it was amazing and really gelled together.

How did that not make sense......

The previous poster said it was all over the place ad that was why they didint like it... i said that the fact that it was kinda all over the place added to the suspense of the mini-series.

The OP stated it is all over the place - meaning: it's a creative mess, you don't disagree and continue with: THAT is what makes it great. A creative mess is great? Fine, if you think that that is good on a pure "haha" level (just as b-film are to some). But if not, THAT doesn't make any sense.
First of all, all over the place is not the same as variety. And variety was not what the OP was referring to. Secondly, scifi isn't about being all over the place. Again, all over the place and creativity/fantasy isn't the same either.
And you continue with saying that is scifi is all about.
Besides being an extremely bold thing to say (I wonder if you are aware of that?), how much scifi have you seen or read to make such a statement? Regardless of your opinion, let me assure you that is NOT what scifi is all or little about.

What you are basically saying with your posts of yours is that I could write a screenplay right now. Filling it with whatever comes out of my ass and NOTHING makes sense, and THAT you would find to be great cause you couldn't conceive the crapiness (or in your POV: couldn't conceive such 'unexpected suspense').

No, it really isn't. The argument here is that science-fiction has to make sense. That is to say, the point is that fiction must have some basis in reality. I should smack every author that says anything so stupid with a copy of Snow Crash, as fiction is precisely defined by "whatever you pull out of your ass."

...and people wonder why God kills so many innocent catgirls...
