1a) Yes, it would seem so.
1b) I think that was in the movie to add to the mystery at the beginning before we find out he was out at sea and was affected by this mysterious energy inside the triangle. I think he was in or around Miami, and in the same time frame as scientists.
1c) It seems like a hallucination. Some people affected by the triangle had hallucinations of what could be, others had glimpses of what may have been. and some had their reality changed completely to an alternate reality. The type of hallucination that happened in the shower, didn't really fit in with the rest, but then again, neither did Beneralls hallucinations of his alternate self.
2a) We can assume so. At one point you see all the planes flying back and everything goes back to normal. Since she came from present time, I'd assume that things got reversed for her. I'm not so sure about all the people who had been changed or fell victim to a wormhole decades earlier. Perhaps they were returned back to their present time, to the way things were. That is the difficult part. Understanding how our time and their time 60 years ago could be happening simultaneously.
2b) She aged because she went into a wormhole or a rip in time as they call it. She went through to 1940 and came back, it was 2hrs since the plane had gone down, but for her body it was 60 years, the energy clearly aged her super fast. I'm not sure what happened to the other passengers, but i'd assume they got stuck back in 1940.

4) I think that is a navy cross and it was given to him as a sort of thanks for doing what he had done. Him putting it into the water signified that it was finally over. fitting - the navy cross belonging on the bottom where they found the secret navy base. I'm not positive. Anyways, Yeah he took the 5 mil. He needed the money and told his wife, he was going to have a nice payday, and now he tells her, it's time to change his ways. I think he took the money. At the end of the day, money is money and bills still need to get paid.
5) The Langoliers(especially if you liked The Triangle), The Stand(my fav), Rose Red, Arabian Knights(another fav), Star Wars:Clone Wars, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, North and South, Lonesome Dove(awesome western), Merlin, Battlestar Galactica, Dune, Tin Man(oz), Broken Trail, The Pillars of Earth(if you like medievil stuff, you'll love this), Alice, Gulliver's Travels(tv movie but was pretty long), Moby Dick, Cleopatra, & Napoleon.
