'From the director of X-Men' MISLEADING

The top line on the DVD cover for this god-awful crapfest is "From the Director of X-Men".

Now, I'm a logical person, and fairly intelligent, so, when it says "From the director of X-Men", I understand that Bryan Singer was INVOLVED in this thing, but did NOT direct it.

I also understand that Craig R. Baxley did NOT direct X-Men. (If he did, it wouldn't have been the wonderful popcorn superhero flick that it turned out to be.)

But, I really think that it's a purposefully manipulative tag line that intends to make people believe that Bryan Singer directed "The Triangle".

Sad.

Very sad indeed.

Yeah, but is it really that tough to turn the DVD case over to see the credits at the bottom? Somehow I think not...

It's not misleading in the least. It says "From the Director of X-Men" which translates into Produced by... and Bryan Singer was the executive producer of The Triangle and directed X-Men, so no it's not misleading.

They always give credit to who produced.

Except that is generally how people WILL perceive it, marketing folks know that and that is exactly why they do it. So you are both wrong I am afraid, there is an entire trillion-dollar industry behind it :)

Have a lovely day.

I think Dean Devlin had the main hand in the production and didn't he have a lot to do with the original Independence Day movie?
