I Quite Like It

Episode 3 was far better than the others (tonight's episode) and it had me laughing pretty much all the way through. A nice, easygoing comedy.

I think its hilarious, has me laughing, cringing and smiling in all the right places.

I adored Love Soup too, what a splendid Tuesday night the BBC has been giving us!

I agree - the first couple of episodes were a little patchy, but it really improved towards the end of the series. Can't agree with the main review by "fried_gold"...what you should remember is that nearly all sitcoms start off slowly. Fawlty Towers wasn't warmly received, the Office took a few episodes to get going, Blackadder was nearly scrapped altogether.

Now, I'm not putting Supernova in the same bracket as those, but it's been a nice way to spend half an hour over the past few weeks and I look forward to seeing more.

Quite. I for one loved the show from beginning to end, and was gratified to hear the announcement of a second series.

And of course - whether it gains "classic" stature or not will be decided by history, but right now, I rate it as the funniest thing in nearly two decades - since Red Dwarf.
