Why not Sugar Rush on BBC?

I had a thought: if Olivia was in Torchwood and Lenora was in Dr Who, and the production company Shine have done some programs for BBC, isn't it possible the BBC have enough hold to do the third series instead? it might not be their usual programming but seeing as how the first two were a big hit would they wanna pass up on this opportunity? They lost the simpsons and 24 I think they deserve something back.

Only channel 4 have the guts to air a show about teenage lesbians, plus they are the only channel that tries to cater to a younger market (even though the late time slot of Sugar Rush didn't set it up perfectly for its target audience.
If BBC aired the show or a show like it it woudl probably be seen as controvertial all of a sudden ( I dont think the show was at all) and cos a bit of outrage for the Daily Mail reading BBC viewers.
The fact that this makes it true makes the fact that channel 4 decided to axe the show in favour of BB even more disappointing.

But there's hope still. I'd be surprised if no companies showed interest in a third series, as it was such a success.
