Was Charlie Senerak screwed either way?

Charlie Senerak from The Witness...

If he didn't go to confront Theo Katranis, resulting in him killer the latter, burying the body, followed by him driving around aimlessly that night, which in return resulted in him missing his bus to work...

That means he would have been on the bus and be killed in the sarin attack.

I loved the episode quote at the end:

David Rossi: "The world is so unpredictable. Things happen suddenly, unexpectedly. We want to feel we are in control of our own existence. In some ways we are, in some ways we're not. We are ruled by the forces of chance and coincidence." - Paul Auster

Yep, he was screwed the minute he killed someone I think. I don't think he could've hidden it forever.

That episode was one of the best of season 11

And if he didn't kill Theo...he would not have taken the time to bury the body, driven around aimlessly at night...

He would have maintained his normal schedule, meaning he would have made the bus on time that day only to be killed by the sarin attack.

I remember Rossi mentioning several times during the episode that Charlie was a suspect because he missed the bus, which was very unusual for his routine. Also, his wife seemed disappointed to borderline disgusted he missed the bus, as if it was something that never happens and a sign of him falling apart or whatnot.

He woulda been screwed the moment he didn't kill anyone as well.

I hadn't thought of that, interesting.
