I just brought one in from Japan for the bargin basement $47 US. lol I'm in Toronto. Interested in a used one? Amazing film btw....

YesAsia.com sells it in a Region 2 format, so you'll need a region-free DVD player to get it to work. But it comes in a REALLY great transfer that looks beautiful, and the english subtitles are very well done.

I ordered mine and it was only about 43 dollars, plus free basic shipping. Not a bad deal considering how hard this is to find. They have tons in stock. Check it out.

Region 2... If I'm not wrong this means Japan and Europe have the same region code which is kinda cool.

But they use different video format (PAL in Europe, NTSC in Japan), which AFIAK means a Reigon 2 DVD from Japan wont play in a European Reigion 2 DVD player.

Yes it will. You don't even need to change the region - most TVs are compliant so to avoid a B&W picture you just adjust the the output setting on your player. Not that you need to - most do it automatically. NTSC is not a problem in the UK & Europe, hasn't been for years.

Australian DVD is cheaper than Japanese and it's a 2 disc set too.
There are also German (German subs only) and French (don't know anything about this, except it's a 2 DVD set from what I've heard) releases.

So if you are buying the movie to support the artist a pirated copy just makes you feel horrible.

I would try something that rhymes with "scorrent". The movie companies may be too lame to bring it to us, but the fans are certainly not.

Yup I seeded the movie on Utorrent to a ration of 1.
And when I'm done seeding other things that rhyme with scorrent, I'll seed Mind Games some more, cause it's easily one of my favorite films.
