Will we ever see this released in the west? Especially the UK
Is there any information on distribution for this film? I'd hope that one day I could own a physical copy of it; it definitely has a large enough fan base from what I've seen....
shareAlmost a year since I posted this. Has no information surfaced since? Shame, if not. I find it surprising that huge Western distributors of anime haven't taken notice of this film yet, especially with the cult following the film has gained. Why haven't Bandai or MangaUK snatched this title up for distribution yet?
It's a shame really. Until then, I may just have to get a copy of the film shipped from Japan.
Madman Entertainment released a 2-disc version in Australia with english subs...probably your best way to get this movie. That's what I did...it's not THAT expensive and it ships surprisingly quickly too. A real shame it hasn't been released in the West, given that this movie is a masterpiece.
