I don't get him. Is he bad? If so how did he get bad, cause I think he's bad.

Later in the series, he defeats Sousuke and destroys AL. Kanami goes with him so Sousuke would be spared.

No, but Mithril is currently creating a new AS so Sousuke can rescue Kanami.

Yes, Sousuke tells Chidori that he loves her in a radio communication and she begs Sousuke to rescue her, no matter how many men he has to kill (<-- no joke, you can read this in the latest novel).

A new FMP season will probably be a while. The studio is busy with Clannad and starting on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2. But hopefully after that...
