Mary= Suffocation from being stuck in the box for too long.

Roger= Cooked in tanning bed when the owner yaps on the phone for too long and Mary turns up the temperature related to legend were woman cooks her internal organs.

Heather= A spider sent by Mary lays an egg on her face during the night she wakes up pops the egg releasing the spiders. They crawl all over her body untill she falls into a mirror getting 2 big junks of glass into her face she pulls them out ripping part of her face off. related to spiders laying eggs on face legend.

Buck= Killed by Bloody Mary in his motel room after being stabbed by a broken bottle. loads of legends here including the people can lick too legend. the severed finger in the bottle legend and the person trapping their arm in a vending machine and it falls on him but Buck is lucky as he manages to free his arm before it lands on him.

David= Suffocated by Bill Owens with a plastic bag.

Bill Owens= Killed either by Mary pulling him into her grave or by heart attack.

"David= suffocated by Bill Owens, his own father with a plastic bag. "
It's not "his own father"-he is only a husband of his mom :)
And u didnt miss anything ;)

U missed the dog, Chewy. Gutted and hung in the closet. saddest death in the movie in my opinion.

That was part of the "People can lick too" legend

The only scary death scene, the one with the spiders, is ripped off of the 1987 movie "The Believers." Everything else is hilarious.

reply

actually it isnt ripping off any 80's movie. its based on an urban legend that is WAY older that. sounds like that movie is taking off of the same legend.

its stupid to say this movie rips off anything becuase its called URBAN LEGENDS...meaning its announcing with its title that it is taking ideas already heard and known and should be recognizable.

Here lies Dobby, a Free Elf.
Chuck Norris' boggart is Neville Longbottom.

reply

Yeah, well...you're stupid! And so's this movie! So there.

Seriously, watch the spider scene in "The Believers" and tell me there's no more than a passing similarity.
