I didnt feel sorry for the JApanaese.

When I saw this movie, I did not had any remorse nor sympathy for the Japanese. I mean, it just shows how ridicoulsy fanatics they are. I mean, I dont see any real dram nor character development. Just a buncha stupid confused Japanese kids screaming and shouting when it comes to battle. I nean ther movies you would see the victim and feel sorry for them. Not this movie, I had no sadness when I saw those Japanese body being shot and burn to pieces. I mean the jaoanese had done more wrong ANd killed more innocent civilians in ww2. SO, I really didnt feel any sorry for them. Not even justice because there are still outthere. The ones responisble with such cruelty.

Yeah, who to feel sorry for and who to be angry with...There is no doubt the Japanese committed incredible acts of brutality in WWII, and did not stop fighting even when they were clearly defeated (for the fiat and pride of the emperor?), thus wasting hundreds of thousands of lives. Seems like the Americans were just kicking the crap out of the Yamato at the end when she was defenseless, but why was she in the fight in the first place? What was accomplished? The Admiral knew that...
Feel sorry for the Japanese soldiers/sailors who were victims of this heartless mentality. I think the movie shows that very well. Uchida, Moriwaki, etc. were cast as good folks with lots of comraderie for their fellows, and a great sense of duty, even if the goal was suicidal and stupid.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

No one killed more innocent civilians than the colonizing Westerners. With the exception of Japan and Thailand, the rest of Asia had pretty much been invaded and colonized by the Western nations, the United States included.

When the US tried to snatch out the Philippines from Spain, the US troops, led by the late Arthur MacArthur Jr. ended up starving more than 400,000 Filipinos to death. This turned them the brown uncle Toms. When the Japanese military offered a help for the independence movement, the Filipinos were too scared of fighting against the Americans.

Other parts of South East Asia had equally been dehumanized by Britain and Netherland. If it weren't for the effort of Japan, the entire Asia would still have been under the control of the West.

Either show where he's wrong, or say nothing at all. What you're doing is just as baseless as what you accuse him of being. You look like a child with a little bit of anonymous power and a few references.

I doubt that the Japanese want anyone to feel sorry for them.
