The malayalam version of the movie was far better...

This is not just for Kyon ki most of priyadarshans movies are good in malayalam but it turn to total crap when it gets ported to into hindi.

One of the great things about Pryadarshan films were the characters, how real they are and how well they are portrayed by the actors. In hindi he tries to be extravagant with his sets, location, costumes, dialogs etc. And as a result it looses it "edge".

I think he should stick to his roots and give more emphasis on the story and characters more than the masala..
