stupid wwe invasion

i actually went to the show at the hammerstein ballroom and i gotta say the wwe invasion was so freakin stupid. i know paul sold the rights to vince and works for him now and there are certain wrestlers that wouldnt participate in the one night stand show or didnt want to have anything to do with it but why on earth was there a wwe invasion? and why was vince so cheap in not purchasing the rights to the intros for the dvd release? that is very sad on his part. i know hes in it for the money but he coulda shelled out a few more bones for the atmostphere. it ruins the feeling for those who coulnt of been there. i bought the dvd and was very disapointed on how they made the view and feel of it :(

after being there and watching the dvd i came to a conclusion. the show was great i really enjoyed it but on ppv or dvd they crippled it like a top of the line verizon cell phone (and i have the vx8100 and i have to hack it just do what i want it to do :) )

if anyone has a homemade copy please contact me thank you

ECW's name is officially owned by the WWE, Vince McMahon had full control of the PPV, and had Tommy Dreamer out getting talent, they aleo was trying to poach talent from Shane Douglas' Hardcire Homecoming. TNa barred all their wrestlers fro appearing thus Kid Kash quitting TNA.

Heyman had no choice in this matter, he was lucky to even be apart of the PPV they didn't want him to be. So Heyman had to conform to the WWE wishes and have their stars appear on the show, also it helped hype it up because people from the WWE fan side turned in to see what was going to happen among the Crusaders and the ECW crew.

One Night Stand 2 is going to be one to see, Rhino, Sabu won't be appearing due to TNA contractial agreements, so I would really like to see who is going to appear.

i totally agree w/ you that the invasion angle was stupid but at least we got a cool little rivalry between jbl and the blue meanie that wasn't a work. anyhow, you know vince will not let ecw stand alone and will have some kind of wwe storyline involved. what do u think of this? rvd wins the money in the bank match at wm22 and cashes it in at ONS against kurt angle (i presume he will still have the title) in a ecw rules match and wins. he could even spray paint ecw on it after he wins. the heat on angle would be huge considering his bad history w/ ecw and paul heyman and it is better than having a stupid invasion angle and i'm sure having a tilte match would be enough involement for vince.

I didn't actually mean to add him, at the time I had forgotten he was under a WWE contract. Though that was later terminated, and he made a brief return to TNA last year before being released. He was reportedly upset at being released as he had hoped it would've been longer.

TNA simply ran out of things for him.
