Handy Manny is a rip off of Bob the Builder? I don't know if anyone else has said this or thought this, but yeah.
Completely. Bob the builder first screened 1999. Handy manny screened 2006. BTB features a handy man with talking vehicles who help him "fix it", HM features a handy man with talking tools who help him "fix it right". Both follow a very similar pattern (ie someone has a minor crisis bob/manny and their vehicles/tools turn up to fix it!), are based in a small town with recurring side story characters and a recurring song. Only real twist is HM covers very basic spanish. Thats about it. Don't know how disney get away with it. Oh yeah, probably because they're DISNEY.
