Notice how Wonder Woman was polite to her male counterpart.
As oppose to... "Stop holding my hand!" - MarREY Sue.

shareYeah, she wasn't written by men trying to virtue signal by showing women how down with the feminazi cause they are.
shareShe was polite, wasn't she? That and her innocence of the world were very endearing. Gadot did a great job!
shareWonder Woman is polite to everyone (not just to males) because she was raised well in a loving family and close-knitted community. While Rey was an abandoned orphan grew up in dangerous neighborhood along with despicable aliens.
shareWonder Woman is also hundreds of years old, while Rey is maybe 20. Diana has had all that time to polish her social skills at a queen's court, while Rey was scrabbling for something to eat.
I like how she's exquisitely polite to Bruce Wayne, but clearly doesn't accept him as an equal. Thats the sort of good manners you expect to see in a princess!
One of the good things about this movie was that the women, while being intelligent, physically tough, and completely self-reliant, were not rude and bitchy toward either men or other women. The film's makers avoided that lazy cliche to the benefit of the characters and the story.
