havent followed up, any indications of behind the scene drama?

with script, production, etc?

The only thing I have heard to that affect was a disgruntled ex-employee stated that production was a mess, though Patty Jenkins went on Twitter and dismissed the claims. Other than that, I haven't heard anything to the contrary.

There was Michelle MacLaren leaving the project, although that happened a full 7 months before filming began, and the film was presumably still being written by Jason Fuchs at the time.

Other than that, the only other thing we've heard was that ex-employee who clearly had a bone to pick, in addition to being a bit of a hypocrite, given that she complained about losing her job at WB, yet she apparently had no problem potentially sabotaging other people's jobs at the studio.

All I've heard is one disgruntled ex-employee, claiming this film was a mess with them giving no explanation how they would know this (films are made in a pretty disjointed manner, scenes are shot out of continuity, whole parts are cut or reshot at a later date, lines are changed of shooting, etc.), nothing apart from that.

The unfortunate thing is that if the film doesn't fare well with critics (what else is new), people will take it to mean that said disgruntled employee was genuinely telling the truth, no questions asked.

Of course, you have to wonder who would have told this employee that the film was a mess anyway, or why that employee would feel the need to blab about it, and potentially sabotage other people's jobs. Seriously, that employee was ranting about how WB let her and a bunch of other people go, yet she has no problem with potentially ruining other people's livelihoods by letting out information like that?

reply

Yeah, it's hard to understand the mindset of this ex-employee. Is there any truth behind these claims? I doubt it. You made a good point though. Right now this ex-employee is seen as crazy who is just lashing out for getting fired. But then, if the film does not fare well, people will start to say, hey maybe there was a lot of truth to what that person claimed.

reply

I haven't heard anything. I think it was complete BS whoever wrote it.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

A bunch of white people all of them divas,so really what kind of energy to go out and cause trouble do you think they have.
