Will we see Diana in modern day or not? (spoilers)

I believe I once saw a set pic of Jenkins and Gadot walking with a Wayne Enterprises truck behind them. It certainly didn't look like a 1920s truck lol

I wonder if we'll see her in present day and that it shows us what she does nowadays. I don't think that the film will end with Superman's arrival, but it could be on the news if she's somewhere else or something, but I don't think the film needs it or that it adds that much. Either way, Wayne Enterprises exists longer than today so it depends from where on that truck could've been made which means it could take place in any modern era.

Either way, I think we really can expect to see the ending taking place in modern day. I do wonder what room that gives them once they make a sequel to it tho.. Would've loved to have seen a Wonder Woman film set in the 70s or 80s. Then again, since she's not Superman when it comes to strength and IMO the stories don't always have to be about saving the world (i.e. the Black Zero event in MoS which changed the world) and on top of that she's more hidden in society which certainly helps. Again, would love to see a WW sequel set in a different decade. Plenty to choose from lol and it's going to be funny to see a Wonder Woman trilogy with each film set in a different decade while Gadot hardly ages :P fits the character.

Then again, each of her films could also be set in wartimes. Perhaps the second film set in WWII and the third in either modern day with interactions of the League or some new event or set in the Cold War. idk, what setting would you like for the sequels?

btw: I hope Jenkins gets to make the trilogy, I love the idea of the same directors making trilogies of their superheroes. The one superhero I would like to see a different director at the helm of for each film in his (solo)trilogy is Superman. Don't let me be misunderstood tho, I dig his work and I quite liked his handheld approach to Man of Steel, but I'm just eager to see another director's vision for a Superman film. I still feel like he's the hardest character to adapt for the big screen. However, I must say I like how he's the main character so far. Man of Steel/BvS/JL really is his story, his trilogy.

Good question. Maybe a post credits scene to tie in with Justice League.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

idk about a post-credit scene tying in with JL. I mean, wouldn't that "harm" potential WW sequels? We've already had a mid credit scene to JL in Suicide Squad which actually made a lot of sense. I actually feel that WW could do well without a post-credit scene. Perhaps they don't even need to tie her story with modern-day set DC films because we already know she's on the side of the good ones.

I would like to see the mythology of the amazons explored in WW. For example in WW if we could get a Easter egg or after credit scene in present day of a possible threat from the past. Another old God or something of that sort. Seeing how JL will be dealing with the New gods of Apokalips hopefully at some point they can tie in the other side of that coin and introduce New Genesis and Highfather, whether it's JL sequel or a WW sequel and then see WW work together with them against evil, in modern day.

If we ever get a Green Lantern corps movie the possibilities for exploring all the worlds would make for some awesome movies.

Green Lantern honestly is the ideal JL character for expanding the DC universe since well, that covers the entire DC universe. Too bad the 2011 one didn't pan out. I actually wish they did a new one sooner than 2020.

I'm not looking too far ahead, just hoping the first WW will be a success. You did bring up some good "what ifs" to which I'm hoping there will be sequels to see what they do next.

I get what you mean. I also hope the first film of her is a huge hit. I think there's a lot of potential for sequels.

Chris Evans said in a interview he is not playing 2 people. This movie may only cover a one period as far as a large cast. Maybe a small area when she reappears in a more modern setting as in Batman and I would hope a little bit of information on how she knew Lex had a photo. That could be where he shows up,

lool on the mentioned actor :P

Yeah Pine said he wasn't playing a descendant of Steve, but you never know at this moment, whatever the actors say. Then again, I think Pine is quite honest so there's that.

I also thought of the photo. I think we'll get to see the scene of that photo being made. But perhaps she doesn't give it much thought in the same film, only later on when she wants her identity hidden. However, back in the 10s that wasn't much of a problem compared to modern-day lol

I really suppose it won't be till next year to find out who Said is playing. I don't think a villain and hope for Zatara, and a Zatanna cameo, with more role in JL.
