At the end he killed one Woman but what is he doing with the other woman?

Are they struggling or is he raping her?

Excellent point. That was what kept me from slagging this movie for being a 100% predictable "team stuck in bad situation" type of movie. The ending, when you thinking about it, is *beep* bleak, mate.

i believe he was raping her. Since he was a little boy when he first went into the cave he probably didn't know much about the "process". i think that's why they have the scene in the beginning when the couple are having sex in the cave and they feel someone is watching them. he must have learned it from them.

This movie was like Blair Witch, only in a cave and twice as stupid. Seriously, if they just stopped screaming, the dude probably wouldn't have killed them. I'm glad Blockbuster has that 3 for 9.99 rental thing going, otherwise I would be pissed.

More than the disturbing screams was that everybody in the team makes some noise, those are words but totally meaningless.
Crazy lads, speaking of nothing but continue repeating...
It sure pissed me off...

I feel movies use unnecessary sound effects nowadays. Disturbing noises...

Moreover, this movie was not even the half what it meant to be...

I don't like getting bored while watching a movie :)

Waste of sources and time...

I agree with smashsmack. The ugly guy was calm for a moment, then the dumb girls started panicking and yelling and that made him mad. So he killed the white girl and started raping the black one. I think that at least the black girl should have gotten away. And HOW can you end a movie like that and think it's good? This movie pissed me off.

Honestly, the ending was the scariest part of the movie if you look at it from the girl's pov. She knows that she's basically his playtoy for however long he decides to keep her around.

It's rape or be eaten...what do you think about when you're in the cavern when those are the only two things that can happen?

But yeah, BAD movie.

Man, that meat did look a little sus but gosh it looked tasty lol. I was just laying in bed watching the movie in silence and when that happened . . I laughed, I think that was the best part of the movie.

I liked this movie at first, until it came to the ending. That was just stupid no offense. I was hoping for some freaky looking creature, not a caveman :(

I loved this movie...at first. But then the end came and it ruined it. The movie should have ended when they were crawling towards the light at the end of the tunnel and th emonster grabs them and you hear screams. Then fade to black. That would have been a great ending. It was disappointing to me.

Totally agree with you. Movie really wasn't bad, considering its budget, until the end came. At least end it in a scary manner rather than in the middle of a rape, for Christ's sake!

Wolf/Bear hybrid.....I'm sure!! That was so stupid. You could see that ending a mile away. Not bad on the gore meter though. Lots of squishy goo:) But oh boy, that ending. The guy at the end reminded me of my ex-boyfriend...good grief!

The end was baaaad. They really shouldnt have used such a realistic and cliche explanation for what was happening. SHould have left more to the imagination...that the cave was alive with some supernatural force; calling it Hells Pit, absorbing energy and suggesting it was alive - all played on this idea which is why the ending was such a letdown.

This ending has to be one of the craziest I have ever seen, turning a low budget sleeper into a must own gem. Watch it and find out if you don't have it in your head at work or school the next day....

Only people who must own this are aspiring filmmakers. This will be their "what not to do" guide. They'll be looking through their screenplay: "DON'T have lead character raped into credits... check. DON'T provide a stupid explanation when a wolf-bear hybrid is much better... check. DON'T squander a great setup by turning a well shot and creepy beginning into a cheesy, student-film like bomb... check." Damn, the film is already better than WithiN/ The Cavern.

This I dont get. The villain wins. I mean, lets face it. Most evil male "things" wont be killing a female captive/victim right away.

I'd even they should have changed it so that the two females & a guy survived to the end, stumbling into the chamber, & Peter kills the guy, rapes the first female, then cut to credits as he is about to rape the second. Maybe even have the credits silent so you can somehow hear that he goes back & forth raping both.

Also, have a post-credit with them pregnant. Maybe even a bunch of kids to show that they've been raped repeatedly for years.

The rape at the end actually reminds me more of The hills have eyes. That "Human-Monster rapes regular girls genre. "
