What is up with thse sick ass directors nowadays? At least you could watch The Cave and The Descent without turning your stomach.
And what part of the freakish subculture are they appealing to with this. that last scene wasn't just sick, it wasn't just stupid...it was totally unnecessary.
I disagree. Movies about innocent people getting killed in general is totally unneeded.
Lets face it. A male acting on pure animal instinct is NOT going to kill a female captive any time soon. Especially since he already killed the males for food. He kept both females for sex. If a movie has a guy killing a female, then it is just not realistic.
If Decent, the Cave, etc dont have the males & or monsters trying to breed with the women, such as in Hills have Eyes, then lets face it, its an unrealistic look.
28 days later is another example of how it is done right. Zombies appear, the army wants to rape the two women they rescue, one of which was what, 16?
When the world goes to *beep* women's rights will be the first to go.
So yeah, I think that ending was needed. We need more of them. People need to see how society will degrade & how half the population will be treated. Sad to say.
