SPOILERS!!

What was bad about this movie? Well lets delve into that, shall we?

Maybe it was the absolutely atrocious coloring used throughout the movie. Maybe it was the lousy acting and poorly written dialog. Maybe it was perhaps the single worst use of CGI fire ever to be presented on screen. Perhaps it was the bad cinematography, and the complete inability for the audience to tell what the hell is going on.

It also could be the thousands of plot holes which include a grown man moving a ridiculously huge rock to cave in the protagonists, or maybe it's because said man was able to tear someone in half. Transverse through a completely pitch black cave with ease and manage to be in almost two places at once. Lets not forget that said man first entered the cave when he was a boy. Ok..so what in the hell did he eat to survive? Why the hell was he crazy, where did he get the goat skull? What was his drive to go live in a cave and kill people? How the hell can he survive being shot about 10 times?

This movie is ass. I can't contemplate any other way to put it. It's just ass. Assy ass asinine assness. I love watching bad movies, but this one....I dont know. Again, ass.

What really made this move fantastically horrible was the fact that it ended with a rape scene for Christ sakes. Think about it.

Here's the run down:

Idiots on trail. Bad camera lighting. Campfire with bad CGI. Idiots enter cave. Get lost while some other idiots get implausibly torn in half. Idiots run around, scream, panic and die. Cue shaky cam. All the guys die. Girls wake up and find out its a grown man causing the terror, one girl dies for whatever reason. Then rape and credits. There's your movie.

This whole movie is just rape and credits. It rapes your eyes out of their sockets then throws credits at you.

Yeah i agree pretty bad not the worst ive seen but the whole young boy thing was just stupid didnt one guy unload a cartridge into him or something.

Glad someone else noticed the ridiculously awful campfire CGI effect used throughout the movie. As if it is so hard to light a real fire. Hilarious.

I totally agree. I thought my television was acting up when the movie came on and the color and saturation was all off. For some odd reason I chose to keep watching it even though I realized that it was indeed the film. This was only a prelude to the rest of the movie. Don't forget about draining of the equipment's power...which of course makes as much sense as the rest of the movie. CGI firepit...I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. So as I said before, I agree, this movie is ass ass ass!

Not even going to bother with the moronic superhuman type feats. The origin was probly made up last minute, to try & "be deep"

The coloring, darkness, shaking cam is just BS stuff that some idiots think looks cool. I never watched Cloverfield, nor will I ever watch any of that hand-cam genre. But its things people use to make their movie seem "artistic"

Maybe the boy ate the goat that he got the skull from? If he was thre for years, he'd might just view humans as "another animal food source"

The rape at the end was the only proper thing in this film. A male thing is not going to kill a female. Reproduction is a base instinct. Other animals, like Lions, Racoons, wolves, etc they & others kill all the other males because they are competition for the females. Its called Evolution. Or Natural Selection. He kept both women because he was going to rape them both. It is actually the best & most honest ending.

Regardless of if you like it or not, a male will not be killing a captive female unless he has to, which would be for self defense. Or an acidental rage-kill like with Hayley.

I'm actually glad about the ending because it was the black chick that was trying to get through to Peter, Hayley wanted her to stop, & the chick who was agrivating him got Hayley killed, thus sparing Hayley of her rapes, but she will not only have to endure all the rapes, but an even more brutal violent first rape than either girl might have got had the black chick not riled him up.

No, the last 20 minutes, including the canibalism, is the ONLY thing this movie did right. This movie should get a big budget hollywood remake, as long as they keep the ending. Maybe tweek it so both women get raped at the end.
