Mexican Bar Screening

I saw this film projected in the back room of a bar on my travels recently in Mexico. I hadn't heard of it but the poster looked interesting & I'm quite into horror. The film itself was pretty cool(particularly Suzanne Bertish & elliott jordan)but on closer inspection & in subsequent searches on the web it doesn't seem to have had an official release anywhere. I wonder if the filmmakers realise their work is being screened for $5 a time in a dusty mexican town?

I think you may have stumbled upon Jose's film club.

He runs this film club in some remote Mexican village and he often shows English supernatural tales - in May he screened Dead of Night, Seance on a Wet Afternoon and The Wicker Man. All for just a couple of Pesos.

That can't be. Because anyone who stumbles into this film club without an invitation leaves it through a somewhat different means...
