Who Was The Clown?

The House is haunted by the ghost of Gran Pa Allan who has a mischievous sense of humour, which is why he sent Conrad the image of the clown on the toilet.

He did not like Brian much, what with the row over the porno mags etc. and so tried to lock him in the toilet, allowing Berenice to escape.

He is however sympathetic to Berenice which is why he let the vicar in to help rescue her from being locked in the toy box with all the rats.

The grandpa seemed to have an unhealthy, (sick), affection for his grandaughter, Berenice, and my interpretaion of Conrad, from the beginning, was that he was profetic, so he was have a glooming doom from the beginning.
