This Film Deserves More Credit

I can't believe it is having problems with distribution. I loved seeing it last summer at a film festival and have been keeping an eye on it, and still only 50 or so people have put a rating on it.
All of the performances are strong, the cinematography is beautiful and the soundtrack works brilliantly.

It really would be a shame if more people don't get to see it because i suspect that the vast majority who do see it, will like it.

I agree. It was well put together. It took me to the place so well I dined on and lingered in a Thai cafe after the movie for a couple hours. The way the culture was handled was true but not from a downward gaze, but straight on, authentic.

Faivre really stood out. Yes, her role was the most interesting, most conflicted. And she nailed it.
