I hated this movie

There was nothing redeeming about this movie and not one character was likeable. It left me feeling awful and I wish I hadn't watched it. I wouldn't even say it was a bad movie... it was just offensive to the emotions over and over again... with no reprieve and no balance.

Florence Flaivre was so incredibly beautiful. There are so many things about this movie that are very real and I'm sure would hit home with a lot of people. This movie reminded me of some of the things I learned in the course I took on Dynamic Family Systems as well as the course in Sociology. We get to see how the family works in different dimensions and across different cultures.

We see how each family member holds the family unit together, how they operate within a state of dysfunctionality, and how dynamics differ from one set of people within the family to another.

Try doing a google search on "Lev Vygotsky" and pay particular attention to his ideas on the Zone of Proximal Development. The further away from the family unit a person is willing to venture, the broader his/her learning is going to be. What a person learns is what and who they are they are willing to utilise.
