I'm about 20 minutes into this and I can't see anything. Am I blind? The movie is so dark that I have no clue what's going on. You can say that it's part of the movie's style and it's clever, but it's just plain awful. When I watch a movie, I want to SEE what the hell is happening.

I stopped actually taking your post seriously after I looked at your post history. You suffer from a pathetic life in which you resort to five-year-old name calling on the message boards and a severe case of being a fanboy. Half of your posts are about this movie and on the Gina Phillips board. It's absolutely pathetic how you're dedicating your time to promoting this film, I really hope you're getting paid for this. Grow up and learn how to enter a discussion like an adult. I don't care if you argue against me, just don't respond like a child.

Pointless argument, I can see there's no arguing with ignorance. Some people on these boards don't understand the concept of discussing differences in opinion with respect and sufficient facts and evidence. And if we're really going to argue the quality of this movie, popular opinion seems to suggest quite the opposite of what you think.

The problem with movie making is, I guess, that the film makers have to gauge at what level of IQ they are pitching at. In this case, the movie, to me at least is really clever, scary and beautiful to watch but you have to be on the ball to catch everything that is going on because if you DO the time loop works really well. I think the movie was pitched a little too high for people like you.
You suffer from a form of blindness which in medical circles is called being a MORON.
I will reap my reward in paradise, Inshallah. I decline your advice, moron. It's a great movie, period.
It's pretty pathetic that you've posted a billion times either promoting the movie to death or blasting everyone who says that the movie is bad. You don't even try to argue the point. How much are you getting paid by the makers of this film?

Ok thanks for the advice. Oh no, sorry, I meant hang yourself you preening tiny maggot. I really need the advice of a self-appointed film 'critic'- but hey, advanced capitalism allows for scum rising to the surface; down on your knees, worm. Only joking! Having looked on your myspace I will now and forever more be hungry for every syllable of wisdom that you may impart to a world starving for your incisive utterances. The actual breadth of your knowledge is truly staggering. How's the shelf-stacking going?
Where did I ever appoint myself a 'critic'? Because I review movies?
I actually did work as a film critic in the Tribune-Review (newspaper out of Pittsburgh) when I was younger. . . I was a teen film consultant up until, well, I grew out of it. But, I did it for 3 years and was paid for it.
And the shelf-stacking. . . well. . . since I've only worked retail once and that was for about a month. . . I'm not sure.
LOL WHAT??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Gina Philips and her lack of talent"?? WHAT?? How can u say that this gorgeous woman is lack of talent!!??? HOW??!!!
To go back to the original post, there were quite a few times that it was a bit too dark for me to see things. I think this film had it's strengths and weaknesses. And this was a weakness for me.
It irks me that a lot of contemporary horror movies use the same low-level blue lighting to establish the mood. I can't really be scared when I can't see *beep* Anyone notice how in The Exorcist several of the scary moments take place in broad daylight?
Count each day as a gift; you never know when the wrapper paper's going to run out.
Bad things happening in broad daylight are much more shocking. Stephen King uses that to a great effect having characters killed in broad daylight in places that people don't normally die violently.
