How did it all add up??? (Spoiler alert!)

Some scenes seemed totally unnecessary because they added nothing to the plot, only confused it. Like the scene where the nurses stripped naked and kissed each other. Or the little girl who kept trying to hint that she knew everything, but said nothing of value. Or the history of St. Rosemary's (did not tie in with Amy's plot.)

And if the Nick in the hospital is not the "real" Nick, as some of the other posters have said, then all the scenes where he talked to the other patients heard their screams at night and saw the nurses drinking blood and everything else would have been fake reactions as well. What???

And why is it when Amy stabbed Luke in the gut he had no reaction like he was supposed to be immortal, but when she sprayed him with steam, he screamed and collapsed?

Not to mention that the dialogue was HORRIBLE and the Amy character's bad acting didn't help. Plus, the meanness/rudeness of the police officer and the little girl's parents was not believable at all.

Overall, this movie just really sucked.

Hum. Well, sometimes people put shots in for different reasons, like the naked nurse scene would be appealing to men and lesbians, but would also answer why they were taking blood practically every day.

I haven't read any of these "not real Nick" theories, but I'm pretty sure it was the real Nick and they were real reactions.

The steam injuring Luke was quite odd, and I don't think there's any real way to explain it. Though, perhaps it got in his eyes and..hurt them.

The police officer was really terrible. It was amazingly unrealistic, and I've never met an officer who acted that way.

That's my opinion, course.

The officer made mention that it wasn't the first time that she had heard the "ambulance took my loved one" story before, and even hinted that perhaps Amy had been there before reporting the same thing. She made mention of "let me guess, they took them to St. Mary's". She wasn't being mean to just randomly be a bitch. It was for one of two reasons. Either it was to throw out the St mary's name and get Amy thinking about it, or it was meant to show that Amy and whatever the guy's name is aren't the only ones who this has happened to. It's a horrible movie.

the steam thing may have been soemthing to do with heat. these guys were killed by heat/fire so it would follow that maybe they would only die by heat related things.

first of all this movie isn't that bad.

second of all, you all seem to have missed the part where you find out that everything between the 2 car crash scenes didn't really happen. it was in her head, a sort of subconscious dream that all led up to her sacrificing her life to save nick's. it was a "test" as she says. so anything that happens in that whole span can simply be explained with "it wasn't real." anything goes because it didn't really happen which explains why some things didn't make sense and other things (the very rude police officer) would never actually happen in real life.
