You're right about a lot of things......
A) there are a lot of pathetic angry people who rip on EVERYTHING. For those of us who actually WORK in the movie industry, they are bugs, insignificant worms. The fourteen year old kids who write trash on the internet from their mother's basements (and are stomped on like in the movie "Jay and Silent Bob Strike back" LOL! I loved that scene where they beat up every idiot who rips on their movie/comic book/et. al on the internet).
SPOILER ALERT:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
B)You're right about LIMBO. A lot of viewers didn't get the purgatory thing. It was a test for the title character. The secondary characters were existing it too, but the test and the resolution wasn't for them. They were all 'zapped' back to the last moment of their lives so that they could go on, with no memory of what happened. The main character, however, knew and maintained her memory of the events, since she passed the test and was ready to go on to whatever awaits her in the afterlife. I actually liked the ending since I understood it. Sure it was sad, but I liked how the character was accepting of her fate.
C) The Nudity and lesbian nurses. From what I remember, demons or demonic entities try to trick or enslave humans/human souls through 'temptations of the flesh'. Either a lavish meal, the promise of great wealth or SEX are often tools 'of the devil' in a lot of stories. As a viewer, I liked the scenes, because, well, hey, I'm a guy, I'm gonna like hot naked chicks, okay?
D) You're right again. Anyone who doesn't watch the whole thing or remember what the beginning of the movie was, are fools and their comments are not worthy of attention. I love how people rate a movie and then admit that they only watched the first half. If a movie is either good or bad, give it a shot and pay attention to the entire thing. THEN their nasty little critiques will be legitimate, not BS like most of them are.
Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.
