I really wanted to like this film becuase I'm hispanic and I know a few things about the people and quinceaneras... but unfortunately I thought this film was horrible! The acting definitely fell short for me, the one thing worth watching the movie was Tio Tomas, he was a sweetheart but the whole story was just garbage, including the pregnancy... Quinceanera's a lot more fun than portrayed in the film too...

quincenera's are fun for the parents and adults lol. Some girls want them, but for the younger group its only fun once they get to dance. Otherwise it's just a traditional ceremony that is done for the family. I thought most of the actors were very well played, They seem more real than a lot of the "Latino" characters portrayed in film.

shareI'm not going to respond with name calling, but the acting in this movie is horrible. I am watching it right now and am just waiting for it to finish. The story is pretty weak and the acting is even weaker.
