What do you think happens to Carlos at the end?

This was something my mom brought after we watched the movie for the second or third time. I think they got the house from the lesbians. Remember when Magdalena goes to their house and interviews with the lady?

Well if you look at the end of the film, you can see them in the sitting in the church at Magdalena's Quinceanera.

He said he was going to help Magdalena raise her baby.

I'm still wondering too, one reason I wasn't fond of the ending. They last showed James and Gary discussing what to do with the crafts left from Uncle Tio, and they made it seem like Gary had enough of Jame's ish and was going to leave him for Carlos lol.
