Premium storyline fails on itself to be a true film

D+ Movie Grade

This movie fails on many levels for me.
I mean the production value was excellent for the budget.
And very strong cast.
It was the storyline, that killed it for me to bear watching it.

"Cool" never grew as a person throughout the movie.
I mean, at audition where the casting director challenge "Cool" to tell of himself, he just did a/s/l line. Nothing about being kick out of house, mother getting married, working for his soon-to-be father inlaw, left work early for the audition, or his mother making the food for the wedding of the ex-fiancee soon-to-be married the next day. Nothing, he say's nothing after getting the moment to step up. But, wait his agent calls, the casting director for a third chance. Inbetween, "Cool" makes a ass of himself with the ex-fiancee and they never truly explain the reason why they broke up, "only that she left". But, we see flashback like she's down with the plan. "Whatever"

################Spoiler Alert********************

Now, the ex-fiancee doesn't get married, they don't ended up together. And from a 45 second role in a movie, Mr. Cool is big time star now. Dating the next top model, like ain't no thing been messing with her before. I mean, "Cool" never comes clean and grow as a man. Only, by the power of the storyline his get what's he get's.

If, Mr. Cool would had stand up when challenge by the casting director for who he really was as a man, and after spotting his ex-fiancee the second time at the pumps. And, knowing she didn't get married and it's been a year. He should had, made good with all that "I love you again" speech come true.

And then u had a winner and not a loser of a movie....
