Agreed. Enter the Matrix was a huge disappointment. The Path of Neo is much more entertaining.

It stopped being entertaining when you started to fight giant red ants....seriously.

yeah the game is really good compared to enter the matrix, but those ants..and that weird ending with the giant smith, that was a huge disappointment.

the first time i beat the game i was all excited that i finally won the super burly brawl, then when i found out i wasn't done, i think i basically died. that whole ant part still makes me wonder wtf the creators were on or thinking at the time.

the game is no GTA but it's wayyyy better than enter the matrix.

I appreciated that part. Remember how the Oracle talks about aliens in The Matrix Reloaded, but we never see them in the movie? The giant ants WERE the aliens!

Enter the Matrix was rushed to meet the Matrix Reloaded release date. If they took there time, the game would have been better. The glitches, controls, an awkward animation killed the first Matrix game. That is what ruined the game.

I loved both games. Path of Neo was very cool but I agree with the ant level and Red Witch level, those were very weird and frustrating. As for the Giant Smith ending, that was cool but very odd way to end the game IMO. ETM wasn't that bad, it was just rushed, look at Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, that game was rushed and is still considered underrated by most fans. ETM could've been better if it wasn't rushed, I agree with that poster. PON was very good though because they had more time to add to the game.
