Yet another classic destroyed

The original book and cartoon were very good. This typical Hollywood garbage, spewed out to entertain the lesser intelligent was just pathetic. The portrayal of Horton himself by Jim Carrey was beyond childish. It's as if the script was written by a 7 year old. Yes it's a children's story...but most children are not mentally challenged...and don't need to be talked down to. But...who cares about quality, right Hollywood? It made $$$$...that's the bottom line. Keep spewing out garbage...and keep using "big" Hollywood names like Jim Carrey...I am shocked that Carol Burnett was a part of this.
